The NEWS programme has undergone a complete overhaul. As well as the new website, all eLearning materials have been redeveloped from the ground up to provide a more engaging learning experience.
The Learning Management System delivering the programme has also been updated to provide a new interface and improved access speeds. Access to NEWS continues to remain free for NHS staff, although e-mail verification is now required.
Non-NHS staff and organisations are now asked to contribute to the operational costs of running the programme.
